CDT developed a child safety program that trains kids on how and when to ‘run to safety’. This unique child safety program teaches kids specific safe running patterns while teaching them to listen to their environment. CDT has designed an obstacle course focused around different turns, movement and obstacle patterns allowing the youth to have confidence and assurance while they are escaping a possible abduction. Built into this course is an audible hearing drill that will allow kids to concentrate on getting away while listening to their surroundings. CDT realized that child safety taught the right way will help kids outsmart the bad guy, not try to beat him up.
